Well, it’s that time of year, everyone! School-now I know some of you are unhappy about it, and others enthusiastic, but a great way to start off the New Year is with a gadget that can help you excel on your grades and help you take notes better. In this article, you will find out what to buy when looking for a tablet.

Tablets are slowly replacing the computer, because of their ease-of-use, the instant on when using it, and the large amount of apps available for it. So here are the top 5 tablets currently on the market to help you get back to work!

 

1.       1. Apple iPad 2

This tablet features Apple’s iOS operating system, 10 hours of battery life, Apple’s A5 processor, half a gig of RAM, plus Apple’s iWork suite to get the job done. If you buy this tablet, you won’t regret it.

This tablet features Google’s new Android operating system, Honeycomb, the largest screen for a tablet in the business, plus over 80,000 tablet-approved apps in the Android Market. With this tablet, you get both functionality, and an operating system made to fit you with customizable home screens.

The BlackBerry PlayBook is the first tablet made by Research in Motion, and despite its name and 7 inch size, it packs a punch in productivity with an operating system that has excellent multi-tasking. The Flyer is a 7” tablet running Android 2.3 heavily customized with HTC Sense.
