A representative from HP, Tom Bradley, accidentally mentioned a PalmPad while talking to an analyst on the phone. He said that they had sent over 200 employees to work at Palm, and then casually mentioned HP will have “a WebOS-powered PalmPad that will be released in early 2011.” If you remember, HP filed for a trademark on the name PalmPad back in July of 2010, and they’ve been talking about rivals to the iPad since HP bought Palm back in May. So Mr. Bradley has slipped a secret from inside HP and Palm. All we can do now is pray that their tablet is released really, really early in 2011, say, the CES conference?
