The
Incase convertible Book Jacket would
probably be the best case you could
buy for the iPad.
Design The design of this case is a type of fake leather, and the inside (where the iPad goes) is made of a microfiber material to protect your iPad from scratches. That’s a good thing. On the back of the front flap of the book jacket, there are 3 ridges, which are for standing the iPad, whether it’s to watch movies, edit something, play a game, read an ebook, or anything else you can do with it while it’s in standing mode. Unfortunately, it increases the thickness of your once 5 centimeters to about 1 inch, and your iPad tends to slip out a little. Functionality The functionality of this case is very…well, functional. But I’m not talking about being able to store loose papers (there’s no extra pocket, but you could store them behind your iPad, but then there’s the risk of the ink bleeding and getting all over you’re case and iPad), I’m talking about working or playing on the iPad. The reason of functionality: The 4 different levels of height when using the iPad. This allows you to easily type and watch videos while it’s sitting on your lap, on your desk, etc., etc. Price In order for you to have this case, you’re going to have to fork out 60 dollars to walk out of the store with it. Quite a high price for a case, but the average book jacket for the iPad is around 40 to 50 dollars. Sleeves, well that’s a different story. Conclusion This is my favorite case for the iPad so far, I don’t plan on buying another for quite a while, and I keep my iPad in this case all the time. Pros: style, fabric, functionality, accessibility to buttons and ports, etc. Cons: iPad slips out a little when used on the ridges for lengths of time, and price
