Talking to anylists today, Steve Ballmer complains of the lack of there not being a “strong iPad competitor, saying of Windows 7 products in the works, “They’ll be shipping as soon as they’re ready”. Unfortunately, the iPad has evolved more than Steve Ballmer would have liked, saying “they’ve sold certainly more than I’d like them to have sold.” So it’s sounds as if Microsoft is behind-not out- of the tablet market, with several new tablets to come.
